Nothing on Bible Synapse belongs to Bible Synapse. The Bible texts, translations, commentaries, devotions, dictionaries, data, maps, illustrations, photographs, fonts and software you see here are the work of their respective owners, or are in the public domain. The site only gathers them in one place for free, non-commercial Bible study, and claims no ownership of any of them. Every owner is named on the Credits & ownership page.
The short summaries and answers written for the site are built from the sources they cite, and the facts and ideas in them belong to those sources.
Credits & ownership
Generated from the data the site uses · last built 2026-10-22
This is the full list of whose work appears on Bible Synapse. All rights belong to these owners. Where a work is under a licence, the licence is linked; please follow it if you reuse the work. Photographs of archaeological finds are also credited, with their author and licence, where they are shown, and each archaeology entry and hard-question answer lists the books, articles, museum pages and websites it was checked against.

Sources named on individual pages

W. Haley), and modern works and websites, each named and linked on the page that uses it (for example Bible Hub, Sefaria, Apologetics Press, Got Questions, CARM, Answers in Genesis, Tektonics and bible.ca).
